Day 1 - Arriving to Cozumel

It was a long flight, and an early one, too - I had to leave home at 4am. LGA, plane 1, Dallas airport, plane 2, multiple heavy bags, multiple security checks, multiple emergency landing instructions... When I finally got to Cozumel, I was exhausted and pissed, and my first thought was "What the hell am I doing here? Why am I not home, on my super comfortable couch, watching Seinfeld with Dima and Tanya?" Frankly, I was on the verge of crying for making a huge mistake. But only 3 hours later I'm feeling completely peaceful and happy, in a hammock listening to the waves break on the shore. Ah, the mysterious nature of human emotion...

"Maria Mania 2010" at T.G. Whitney’s

Fun people + countless whiskey shots + gossip-worthy scenes and conversations all around = success! And when all of the above is topped by Tony's rendition of Holiday Road, it becomes priceless:).

Super Kudos to Dan for organizing this spectacular send off for me!!! It could not have been more perfect - everything I hate about bars was absent, and everything I personally need to be able to enjoy a party was present. That is a winning combo!

Thanks to my new amazing Flip I can now share the video effects from that memorable evening with everybody who wasn't able to join in on the fun or wants to re-live some Tony moments.

I will miss you guys!!!

Thanks so much for always looking after us and for organizing the meetings and get-togethers at your place (and elsewhere). Have a great and safe trip/journey and post pics on FB to let us know what you are up to.
