Day 37 - International Women's Day in Mexico

March 8th is the International Women's Day. Yet, there's nothing international about it. It is only truly celebrated in Russia, where you have a day off on this day. In China, it's also a pretty big deal, as far as I know, but no day off... Some other countries in Europe "recognize" the holiday, but do nothing about it. In Mexico, nobody has every heard of such a thing... Of course, I educate my Mexican friends on the importance of this holiday for the Russian women, and get a basket of gorgeous flowers.
